Exchange Emptiness for Peace
WOULD YOU LIKE TO EXCHANGE EMPTINESS, SADNESS, AND GUILT
FOR HOPE, HAPPINESS, AND PEACE?
Believe this:
· Jesus will never let you down. Call out to Him and find purpose and meaning for your life.
· Anything you give up to follow Him will be more than made up by God, who keeps all His promises.
· Jesus will always be your advocate in front of God, once you commit to being a Christian.
· Believe that Jesus was who He said He was—the Messiah and Savior of the World.
· The world is going to unravel one day, and Jesus will be the ONLY friend who can help you.
If you are suffering, find comfort in this:
· God will not be indifferent toward you because of any broken relationships in your life or other problems you may be enduring.
· His love for humanity was magnified when Jesus died on the cross.
· There is a plan for each follower of Jesus: “He who believes in me shall have everlasting life.” (John 6:47)
· The story of the Bible is the truth of God’s plan for humanity.
What God wants from you:
· God wants you to follow Him!
· He does not want anyone to spend eternity in Hell with blasphemers, skeptics and critics.
· He wants you to acknowledge your sin, ask for forgiveness, and follow His guidance and standards as found in the Bible. When you do this, you will find true peace and happiness.
Remember this:
· Everyone has a knowledge of God and anyone who desires further revelation about God will receive it. (Revelation 22:17)
· God’s truth is ALWAYS relevant.
· God will forgive you of your sins if you ask.
· One day the heavens will open and we will see Jesus coming back! We will come face-to-face with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
o How will you be dressed spiritually? Will you be embarrassed by the way you appear to Him? Will He even know your name?
o Be ready to appear before our Holy God—be dressed in His righteousness, not your own. Remember, we are not going to be compared to other people. We are all going to be compared to the perfection of Jesus, and no one is good enough without accepting Jesus’ sacrifice for their own sins.
o And if you are ever in trouble, call out to the only one who can save you—God Almighty, the great “I am!”
