The Good News:  Anyone can be saved!

The Gospel is for all to hear

Everyone needs to hear the gospel message.  Some adults have never heard it, and that means there are also children who have never heard it.  It is imperative that children are taught at a young age to accept Jesus as their Savior.  Children are especially vulnerable to fear and if they are taught early on about Jesus, they can discover their spiritual side and have the assurance that when they die, they will go to Heaven.  When children grow up learning what they need to know, they won’t reject the message like many adults do later in life.

It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from.  Jesus is the Savior of the world.  This means the gospel is for the world to hear and we share the good news that the Savior of the world prepaid our debt to God.  When we embrace Jesus as our Savior, we are made right with God.

The Gospel is eternal

God is eternal and He made us to be eternal beings just like Him.  His word is eternal and stands for all generations and time periods.  God’s word never changes.

Christianity started as a middle-eastern religion that spread through the world.  Jesus was born in Israel as a Savior to the world.  He was Jewish and through His life and His death on the cross, God was telling the Jews and the world that you must now follow Jesus Christ as your Savior, and no other.  This makes Christianity the only path to salvation and Heaven.

The Gospel Message is our means to Salvation

The Gospel is for every nation, tribe, tongue and people.  Christianity is not tied to any one nation or custom.  It is trans-cultural and open to everyone.  When we follow Jesus, we have confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1).  This is called faith.

Jesus will embrace anyone who wants to be saved

Jesus said in John 14:16 “I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jesus is the only path to salvation and Heaven.  If we want to go to Heaven, we must follow Jesus.  The alternative is eternity in Hell.  Satan uses his lies to make sure people don’t hear the correct message:  that obediently following Jesus is the only way.  Satan wants to trip you up.  Don’t allow it in your life.
