What Christians Believe About God and Salvation

We believe:

In one true God who has revealed Himself as one divine essence, yet also three distinct persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

In the Deity of Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit as true God and also true man, born of the Virgin Mary, whose blood covers our sins and whose resurrection assures that we will be saved and raised.

That Salvation is a gift of God given by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ.

That the Bible is the trustworthy and infallible written word of God.

That the Holy Spirit is essential both for faith and the Christian life.

That prayer is an essential component of the Christian life.

That repentance will move God to forgiveness of sins.

That love for God and for others is the heart of the life of a disciple.

In the supernatural power of God who still reveals Himself through prophecy, signs and wonders, dreams, and visions.

That obedience and Christian maturity are the natural fruits of genuine faith in Jesus.

In the Second Coming of Christ at the end of the age.

In being awake and prepared for the Lord’s final appearing.
